DUI law is very serious in Florida. Florida has 67 counties divided into 20 judicial circuits. It’s very important to understand that you have this body of law known as Florida DUI Law, and then you have what are known as Local Customs and Local Rules. What does that mean? Well, that means in one part of Florida, someone with no prior record can handle their case on their own and not get any jail time. However, in another part of Florida, same case, same facts and they walk into the courtroom and they have courthouse surprise. So it’s very important to know your local environment and this is something you can’t rely on friends and family and a police officer’s buddy up in Wisconsin. This is where you need solid legal advice. So if you or someone you love has been accused of a DUI in Florida, give us a call. Your initial consultation is free and we’ll give you a solid, useful legal advice you can actually use.
